This safety vest is light and waterproof in bright colors with reflective mesh stripes. It is small when folded to fit in the glove compartment easily. This comes in handy, whether changing a tire or putting on a snow chain.
Purchased these to use while snow blowing my driveway. Plenty of pockets for phone and garagee door opener. Highly visible materials and zippers seem to be of high quality. I feel much safer wearing this at the end of the driveway.
I have to ride a bike to and from work when I get off work it's dark out. I had been running around for a while but it became increasingly obvious that I needed to be better seen. I'm so glad I came across this because now I feel quite a bit less paranoid.
Im an average guy. Medium height and build. Usually buy a medium of everything. This vest in a medium fit bulkier at the top like it would go nicely over a jacket but at the waist it was snug. It had some give but I would have liked it to be a little wider at the bottom. Consider a larger size if you squat regularly.
This is a great safety vest all around. Construction and materials are top quality. The sizing is basically spot on, what I mean is that unless you are going to wear it on just a shirt you may want to go one size larger. The zipper isnt branded (it isnt YKK) but it looks of good quality.
I got this for an extra measure of visibility while riding my motorcycle at night. I'm very impressed with the high quality of this safety vest!
The mesh material is heavy duty, reminding me of football jerseys that I used to wear in high school. The single stitching is all good with no loose threads or unraveling.
Safety - The reflective materials are excellent. See the video clip I posted, where I shine a flashlight against it. It lights up really nicely!
The right upper pocket has a vinyl or plastic layer, making it a little more heavy duty that the others, and would be a great place to put your phone. All pockets are all secured by a small patch of Velcro. They're not bad, but I doubt they'd stand up to tools and hardware very long. But for misc. items that aren't heavy or sharp, they're just fine.
Zipper - The zipper is made of metal, and fastens & zips smooth & securely. It doesn't get caught up or stall while you're zipping up or unzipping.
Overall, I have nothing negative to say about this safety vest. At $18, you're getting a very high quality safety vest that will do it's job well.
