After using these welding gloves across several different projects, I can confidently say they are built to perform in tough environments. I've been using them for a mix of stick, MIG, and TIG welding, and they've held up well through heat, sparks, and extended wear. The level of heat resistance is excellent. I've worked with freshly welded metal and stayed well protected the entire time. The gloves are rated up to 932 degrees Fahrenheit, and from what I've experienced, that seems like a realistic claim. My hands never felt overheated or at risk, even when handling hot materials or working close to the arc.

The material feels heavy-duty in the best way. Made from split cowhide leather, the gloves are thick and substantial without being rigid to the point of discomfort. They do feel a bit stiff when first worn, especially around the fingers, but they start to break in after a few uses. Once they've softened a bit, they offer a decent range of motion. I've been able to grip my welding gun and hold metal components without much issue, although I would not choose these gloves for precision TIG work where fingertip control is critical.

One feature that stands out is the extended cuff design. These gloves go well past the wrist, offering solid forearm protection. That extra length comes in handy when sparks are flying or when working in tight spaces near hot surfaces. The drawstring closure at the wrist is another smart detail. It helps the gloves fit more securely and keeps loose debris out, which adds both safety and comfort.

The interior lining adds insulation but does not trap heat, so my hands stay comfortable even during longer sessions. The gloves feel well-balanced between protection and wearability. I've also used them outside of welding, like when tending a fire pit or moving hot equipment, and they performed just as well. That said, there is a strong chemical odor that was noticeable right out of the package. I let them air out for a few days, which helped, but the smell did not disappear entirely. Because of that, I would not recommend using them anywhere near food, such as a grill or pizza oven.

Considering the overall build quality and performance, these gloves are an excellent value. They're tough, protective, and clearly designed with working welders in mind. While they do have a few minor drawbacks, especially for tasks requiring high dexterity, they are more than capable for most welding and heat-intensive jobs. If you are looking for solid protection at a reasonable price, these are definitely worth considering.

These are some super durable, all leather gloves that work extremely well for tending fires, welding, glass blowing, and many other tasks involving high heat. These go all the way up your forearm, so you're nice and protected all the way to your elbow. These are super thick, so you can't feel slag burning you or any of that, however they still are pretty flexible so you retain most dexterity. Also, they are stitched with Kevlar thread which has like an 800��F melting temp! So I think it's safe to say these will protect you very well for a long time. These are a very good investment for your safety. I likely would've bought something similar to this anyway if I hadn't seen it on Vine - it just popped up there so I ordered it.
