My brother is a blue collar and works outside a lot. Michigan winters are cold. This coat is very practical. Not only does it keep him very warm, but it¡¯s lightweight with plenty of storage for all his items. The wind resistance is great as well. It keeps him warm when working outside. Bang for your buck.

I got this for my dad to wear when he walks at night in the winter. He¡¯s older, gets cold easily, and walks on some very dark country roads, so visibility was a big deal. This jacket has been awesome. It¡¯s incredibly visible in headlights, like you can see him from far enough away that it¡¯s honestly a huge relief. The heat helps a lot too and keeps him comfortable on longer walks without needing a bunch of layers. It feels well made and practical, not gimmicky. For warmth and visibility, this has been a really good choice. We got it oversized, too, so he can layer up :)

Product is true to size. Oder one up if you expect to wear additional layers underneath. Even without the heater, it's a very warm jacket. The heater does add warmth but don't expect to be overwhelmed with it. You can provide you're own USB-A battery pack if desired. Plenty of pockets which are usable even with gloves. Good quality but the value is subjective depending on the offered price (it appears to be going up and down a bit over time).

Pretty cool (actually hot!) jacket with heated wires embedded in the padding and the battery pack is in a good accessible but not in the way location. The power button is in a good place near the left chest for easy application too. You could use another USB power bank to provide power almost indefinitely if so desired but the included power bank should be sufficient for most users. Heating is pretty quick and even and I only tried out the lowest setting but could feel my body warming up. I plan on using this for cold winter mornings at soccer matches or late evening soccer practices, but I can also use this in the field at work on those rare winter days I am out playing in traffic. It seems like it's decently quality manufactured, but everything is usually similarly made in similar factories now, and I really don't expect it to last more than a few seasons with light to moderate use. Pockets are good and lined and the rest of the jacket functions as needed. The reflective stripes look like they are ANSI approved but anyone can print off a certification card these days and include it with their products so of course, buyer beware when utilizing it in the public right of way. I would recommend this coat for cold days if minimum visibility is needed. It would probably be a great mountain coat for playing in the snow or out on a walk in rural, dark areas. Recommended!
