JKSafety Heated Hi Vis Bomber Safety Jacket with Detachable Hood (BJ480H)

I was impressed by this jacket before I even turned the battery on. As a standalone outer layer, it is excellent—thick, wind-blocking, well-stitched, and very comfortable.

When you do turn the heat on, it provides a noticeable warmth that works well as a supplement to body heat, though don't expect it to feel like wrapping yourself in an electric blanket. I found it runs slightly large, but I actually prefer that for this type of gear so I can layer base layers underneath easily.

The high visibility and reflectivity are strong, making it perfect for my nightly dog walks. It also has great utility with large durable zippers, plenty of usable pockets, and a secure battery compartment.

I got this heated safety jacket for my husband who spends part of his day working outside. He said it was comfortable, warmed up quickly and kept him warm. He wore it for a couple hours, had the temperature setting on low the battery lasted the whole time. He said it fit him well so I would say it’s true to size. I would recommend this item.

This JKSafety heated hi-vis bomber jacket seems well made and feels solid in terms of stitching, material quality, and overall construction. The visibility is excellent, and the detachable hood is a nice feature for changing weather. I haven’t put it through the heating test yet since it hasn’t been cold enough, so I can’t comment on the performance of the heating elements. But as a jacket on its own, it’s comfortable, fits well, and looks like it will handle work conditions just fine.

We live on a small farm and working outside has to happen, even when it's below freezing and winds are blowing trampolines over fences. I got this jacket for my husband. He used to be a fleet services worker and after doing chores in below freezing temperatures wearing this, declared he wished they'd had these heated jackets when he worked on the ramp.

The jacket ran a bit on the large side, which is nice for layering. After letting the heater run on high for about 20 minutes, the jacket was noticeable warmer, especially when stepping outside into the cold. The shell keeps out the wind. The Velcro at the wrists was especially appreciated, as the bands are substantial and make it easy to tighten the cuffs, which are spacious enough to accommodate wearing pretty heavy gloves tucked under them.

The front side pockets come in real handy, as they are quite roomy and located convenient to the belly heating elements. And speaking of pockets, this jacket has them all over, including one on the upper arm that is perfect for tucking a couple pens. My husband is extremely happy with this heated jacket.

It’s all about safety, and this has lots of reflectors front and back for that. It fits me just right and I really like the utility and warmth. The heated elements work ok. The various pockets are very handy, and the zipper and Velcro can be used easy enough with gloves on also. Catch this on a deal and I think it’s a bargain!
